Historic Mustang Racing Team

Racing Trough History

Thoughts are of Dale Earnhardt as my Mustang screams through turn four at Daytona.   After the long backstretch
at Watkins Glen I can only think of JD McDuffie.   It was Grant Adcox  who died at this same spot in Atlanta and my
respects are given  to Fireball Roberts each time I circle Lowes Motor Speedway.   What better way to pay tribute to
these and other drivers who died doing what they enjoyed so much.   Perhaps we should all hope to be this lucky.
This is why I do what I do..........Enjoy these pages.

It was called "The Nurburgring of America" and was truely the "Augusta of Tracks"
Fireball Roberts won his  last race at the old Augusta International Raceway.  Others such as Richard Petty, Junior
Johnson, Joe Weatherly, Ned Jarrett, Cale Yarborough, Don Yenko, Dave MacDonald and Ken Miles also raced there.
Click here for a tribute to the old track and the drivers that competed on this dynamic,  banked,  45 foot wide, 21
turn road course located in Augusta, Georgia.
